The company is looking for a BD manager who has experience in sales development.

Job Requirements

* University or Master degree in Material Science / Engineering, Physics or Electronics Engineering
* Min. 5 years in technical sales / business development and experience in selling/engineering of technical products in an international environment
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Demonstrated problem solving skills, experience in managing large and small accounts.
* Strong technical background including technical terms and concepts, outstanding social skills to be able to successfully deal with a variety of customer types, team player, intercultural awareness
* Experience in electronic components for automotive application is a plus
* Languages: Fluent spoken English, additional languages preferred

1 Sales

* Achieves planned KPI's (turnover, GM) for all products sold to assigned customers for existing products (mainly in Automotive components, electronics, opto-electronics application)
* Handle new customer and application. Identify, evaluate and develop new market opportunity of electronic package for harsh environment applications.
* Have technical business development capabilities (analyse, understand and develop market in a early stage both operationally and conceptually)
* Determine market / customer requirements and demands. Work out business plan and recommends the decision makers and prepare and coordinate the management decision-making process with SBF (strategic business field)
* Facilitate discussion between R&D and customers

1 Project

* Facilitate project contract negotiation, technical discussion between project R&D and customer.
* Liaise and implement the project management process (products for nuclear power plant application)
* Sales development (products for LNG application)

3. Miscellaneous

* Cooperates with Marketing to set up visit and participation planning for the most relevant fairs and trade shows as well as presence in the most appropriate literature and advertising program for associated products
* Attends and supports appropriate conferences and exhibitions
