About the Company

Our client is a leading company providing high quality warehousing, construction, real estate service.

About the Role:

* Collect national and/or local HSE related code, requirement, and report to management team.
* To ensure that the procedures and processes within company HSE Management System are implemented.
* Be responsible for ensuring that all HSE Plans are reviewed and approved by a qualified HSE team member for all construction projects.
* Be responsible for helping each project team to implement the applicable HSE work plan for each project as well as conduct the monthly HSE audit and training programs.
* Be a part of the regional HSE Leadership team and is expected to participate in meetings to support corporate initiatives.
* To ensure that work undertaken by the company in the area complies with both the company's HSE Management System, client requirements and with current country legislations in effect.
* Be responsible for the review and approval of hazardous waste health and safety plans in the area of coverage.
* Be responsible for providing and coordinating training in the area of coverage in cooperation with the individual office health and safety personnel in accordance with company Core Value Matrices Guidance. This should also include Induction/on-boarding of new staff on HSE processes.
* Provide support for requests for information relating to company HSE systems and performance for bids and tenders and where needed support requests from clients for company HSE information.
* Be willing to travel to visit sites and offices where staff are working to ensure a safe place of work is being provided.
* Assist with collection of information for monthly reporting in a timely manner and be knowledgeable of performance to provide update to leadership and other staff.
* Be responsible for conducting office and field HSE audits to ensure overall compliance.
* Be responsible for ensuring that all incidents and near misses are immediately reported and that appropriate investigation and follow-up is undertaken.

About the Person

* Bachelor's degree in occupational health and Safety (OHS), Environment, Chemistry or an equivalent.
* With 10+ years of experience in the aspects of Safety, Health and Environment.
* Excellent communication skills and experience running HSE training and orientation.
* A demonstrated ability to lead investigations and make appropriate recommendations in relation to any HSE related issues and incidents.
* Fluent communication in oral and written English.
