Operation VP, based in Shanghai

* Lead multiple subordinates with various functions



About Client:

Out client is one of the best-established innovative equipment companies for various industries like Automotive, Semiconductor, PV and etc.

About the role:

* Lead, direct and control the day-to-day activities of Shanghai team of Supply, Assembly and On-site engineering to achieve the short and medium-term operating objectives
* Responsible for activities such as assembly, engineering, supply and logistics, quality control and specific projects
* Manage and drive engineering activities and resources in line with Group strategy and projected China growth with the best profitability
* Develop and recommend manufacturing plan & objectives, and establish assembly operating policy and procedures consistent with objectives in Supply, Engineering and Logistics field
* Direct engineering of products consistent with established cost control methods, quality standards and master schedule requirements
* Build quality system and competent quality management team in line with group guidelines
* Lead, direct, evaluate, and develop a team of functional and operational managers or other professionals to ensure that customized equipment meets its established targets and standards
* Develop and implement procedures in cooperation with Group for the best protection of know-how
* Works closely with group for the deployment of group and functional strategies and for sharing group synergies and best practices
* To be responsible for safety, health and environment management



About Candidate:

* Bachelor or above degree in Mechanical or Automatic Engineering
* Fluent communication in both Mandarin and English
* He/she has at lease 10 years of total working experience in the plant assembly or engineering management function, on-site engineering/ application experience is highly preferred
* Solid engineering management skills with strong focus on EH&S, Production, Quality, End-to-End Supply Chain and Cost Reduction, with commercial acumen
* Experienced in managing an industrial engineering or assembly environment with low volume, high complexity and high variability, or customized goods
* Good management and coordinative skills. Capable to manage and coach the department members
* Ability to multi-task in a dynamic environment with continuous improvement attitude
* Have strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as analytical and well-organizational skills, with detail-oriented
* Strategic thinking with result-driven mindset. Compassionate and developed sense of service
