Global Publishing group is looking for a Sales manager for Medical related academic.

Purpose of this position:

Reporting to Managing Director for China, this post is responsible for developing and delivering sales strategies for company' s products and solutions (medical journal collections, clinical decision support databases, clinical or research online training resources, etc.) for the market of the academic institutions and libraries in China (including those in Hong Kong and Macau), in order to ensure sustainable and continuous revenue growth.

Key tasks:

* Develop and delivery sales strategies and yearly targets against the needs of the market
* Grow the pool of direct sales, and develop/manage agents
* Manage customer and client relationships
* Support the continuous improvement of customer services
* Manage sales systems, contracts, budget and reports related to the above-mentioned tasks
* Monitor and report on market movements
* Provide support and coordination for the joint work with other business teams as requested

Skills & experience

* Bachelor degree or above education level
* 5+ years experience in sales in the sectors of STM publishing or clinical knowledge databases in China market (including Hong Kong and Macau)
* Excellent customer network (medical libraries, academic institutions, etc.) for the sales of electronic medical resources subscription and licensing
* Rich experience in developing and implementing strategies and plans for sales, marketing, customer support, with a good record of success
* Good business communication skills in both English and Chinese
