Job Title: Regional Sales Manager – Industrial Curing, Asia

Department: Sales

Reports to: WW Sales Director, Industrial Curing

Job Purpose

This role will be responsible for directly managing the business and sales of our Industrial Curing products in Asia. Primary focus will be developing and implementing a growth and channel strategy for the Asian UV Market. Secondary objective will be to develop an accelerated sales penetration strategy for the SE Asia UV Market.

Major Duties and Responsibilities

Direct day to day management of our Asia business including direct sales staff and channel partners

Develop, implement, and manage a growth and channel strategy for Asia, utilizing effective and efficient distribution channels both direct and indirect

Achieve planned sales revenue for Asia Industrial UV business unit and explain any deviations from plan and corrective measures on a monthly basis

Manage sales channels to increase revenue and market share for the Industrial UV product line

 Develop annual sales plan and monthly forecast for region

Manage and report sales activity/pipeline on bi-weekly basis

 Manage and maintain CRM database updated on a monthly basis

Coordinate and organize direct customer visits with channel partners to drive value added selling

Collaborate with Industrial Curing Product Management Team to provide feedback and regional products/applications required to support local customers/market needs

Provide hands-on customer support of customer applications through use of effective demonstrations and presentations of the Omnicure products and technologies. New products may be added to augment the current products being sold when strategically optimal

Provide sales and applications support to marketing team and/or channel partners at trade shows and industry events as appropriate to drive the business

Coordinate sales activities to enhance relationships with appropriate industry partners to grow application and customer base

Leverage the capabilities and engineering resources of the Omnicure Applications Team to provide applications solutions selling

Manage a budget of the China office and sales team travel expenses to maintain enhanced level of customer support

Frequent travel throughout Asia required to the extent of 25-40% depending on level of business activity

 Other duties as assigned

Relationships

This position interfaces with other functional areas: Marketing, Applications Engineering Team, Customer Service and Service Group, Business Development Group, as well as with European, North American Regional Sales Managers.

 

 

Required Education, Skills, and Experience

Degree in Business or Science field

 7+ years of sales management experience in a high growth technology environment

UV Market Experience highly desirable

Distribution/Channel management and channel development experience required

Fluent in Cantonese or Mandarin as well as fluency in English. Additional Asian languages would be an asset but not required

Self-motivated individual willing to work remotely

Knowledge of the adhesive, assembly and bonding market an asset. UV printing knowledge highly desirable

Technical expertise in applications development, manufacturing, product and process engineering

Demonstrated experience in identifying and developing new markets and/or applications to increase sales

 Ability to foster and maintain customer relationships at various levels within an organization

 Ability to work in a matrix organization

 Must have experience with PC software, Microsoft Office products and including CRM package
