China Sales Segment Manager Job Description

Basic Function:

Develops the sales of Poultry solution to China livestock market, with most focus on Key Account development. Prospects potential markets in line with the global sales strategy defined by the Segment Management.

Responsibilities
Responsible for sales planning and implementation, establish and effectively manage sales force to delivery great growth of Poultry market. Looking for potential bridge to leverage to create business chances for package selling of turn-key project.

Develop KA (Chicken farm company as target customers) and support local area sales to grow existing customer sales. Seek and assess customer needs, provide products and services solutions, and deepen relationships with KA.

Develop dealers in terms of switch business potential from KA to full channel.

To establish/settle China local sales strategy of Poultry market which linked to global strategy to achieve or exceed sales target.

To report on customer needs and build relative events or seminar to deeper connection with the market trends.


Follow up on quality claims made by his customers on segment Poultry. Offer satisfied server processing and solution for customers.


To report on competition monitoring (information, samples, prices.) of Poultry segment, communicate with global management to optimize segment strategy and countermeasures.


To provide regular reporting to sales manager on daily business, the advancement of the action plan and the projects, meanwhile report relevant market data to global segment manager as dotted report line.  


Reporting line

The Position operational report to BU manager of China.

Requirements


Bachelor or master degree in Animal Veterinary or related industry.

At least 5 years of sales experience in Poultry market, familiar with products and application knowledge of various Chicken farm.

Working process and project planning technology in global company background.
Very good business acumen and good view with value based sales.

Good skill and experience to build / maintain strong relationship with KA.

Excellent communications skills, well known of China market circumstance.


Self-motivated and self-managing abilities are expected
Good team player
Certain level of English language skill will be a “plus”
